Hong Kong Sports Economy and Tourism Summit to proceed in-person as planned, with added virtual access option
We are pleased to confirm that the Hong Kong Sports Economy and Tourism Summit will proceed in person as scheduled on September 6 at Fullerton Ocean Park, Hong Kong, despite the approach of Typhoon Yagi.
SCMP Live has made thorough preparations to ensure the safety and success of the event. Our onstage program and VIP networking sessions will take place on-site, with speakers, sponsors, and partners already moving into the venue ahead of the weather changes. This guarantees that the majority of key participants will be safely at the venue and ready to kickstart the Summit tomorrow morning.
We encourage attendees to monitor government weather advisories and assess their travel plans accordingly. The venue will remain open for all who wish to attend in person, and for those who may prefer remote participation, a virtual streaming link will also be made available.
Your safety is our top priority, and we are committed to delivering a valuable experience both in person and online. If you have any further questions, please reach out to us at live@scmp.com.
We look forward to seeing you at the Summit.
